Our Approach

At Kaner Olette we believe in creating strong working relationships with clients through listening with a strong focus on pragmatic methodology.

We take a holistic approach to any given project, with an eye for detail, and this approach has led to our recognition for many arts and community based projects, often in heritage or listed locations.

Our residential projects are crisp, clean and modern with a focus on beautiful detail, considered high-quality materials and sustainability.

We will always be honest and proactive. Our systems are rigorous and we use many techniques to communicate ideas clearly. Our client relationships are very important to us and we are always pleased when this results in repeat business or referrals.

We offer bespoke designs for all types of projects. We have a wealth of experience in the public and heritage sector. However, we also enjoy working to a very high standard on residential and commercial projects. We have won awards for projects in all types of sectors and would love to hear from you regarding any potential projects

  • We can. We approach sustainability in a holistic manner. Our associate Bart Smith is Passivehaus certified, meaning that he has demonstrated competence to provide buildings according to the principles of Passivehaus.

Passivhaus is a whole-building design approach with measured targets to provide a high quality and sustainable building. Even if a project is not attempting to be fully accredited as Passivehaus, the good principles of design can be applied to any building in an attempt to improve the sustainability of the building.
