Hamsey Bridge and Walkway

Placemaking

A project to improve connectivity between Malling and Hamsey near Lewes via a former railway cutting.

The proposals include a bridge over the River Ouse linking two popular public rights of way.

Also plans to make the cutting accessible from the adjoining site which is subject to a housing development to allow for direct access to the existing cycle and walking paths.
